For the month of September 2024, Kegan Richey was nominated by his instructors as an outstanding student and apprentice. Kegan joined the apprenticeship in May 2020. The first contractor he worked for was an out of state contractor called Habco. While there he took his first steps into being a tradesman and worked primarily on the fire alarm system. After, Habco he worked for a local contractor, Bryant-Ritter Hewitt. With them he built traffic intersections and street lights. Here is where he really began to understand how to become a dependable electrician. Once in his third year, he was rotated to Blackwater electric. Here is where he got to put what was learned at pervious contractor into practice. Kegan states that “Today, I strive to be the most dependable person both on the job and in class for my brothers and sisters” Thank you for your nomination.
