Over the past two years, our 5th-year apprentices have participated in an event called WOW—Worlds of Work for 8th-grade students in Chesapeake. This fun, two-day interactive event helped to create awareness about exciting career options and address workforce needs in our region. Our apprentices taught the students how to bend conduit. We had over 1,000 students visit our booth.
