I joined the apprenticeship to get myself out of a dead end job situation. I wasn’t able to move up and it wasn’t what I wanted to do. Knowing that I wanted to work with my hands and brain, I found the union and learned about the apprenticeship. As far as what I enjoy best about it is, finding people with similar interest and learning every day. Vanden was nominated by 2 of his instructors. Vanden has shown what brotherhood is all about.
